Ma 201: Mathematical Problem Solving

Discussion of quantitative problem-solving techniques through a variety of mathematical methods such as optimization, introductory statistics, financial mathematics, and introductory calculus. Not applicable to an Actuarial Science major, a Mathematics major or minor, or a Mathematics Education major. Prerequisite(s): Ma ACT 20+, SAT 550+, Ma 090 or Ma 111 plcmt. 3 Credits.
