The theory of mathematical structures with an emphasis on group theory. Examples are taken from the real number system, linear algebra and calculus. Elements of number and set theory are used extensively. The study of homomorphisms, isomorphisms and related theory is included. Required calculator: TI 89 or Nspire CAS. Prerequisite(s): Ma 300, Ma 202. 3 Credits.
